I have a mk3 jetta and i love the fuel efficientcy, I only have an electrical problem with mine. That's the thing about Vdubs you have to take good care of them in order to make them last longer. I wish i had a newer Jetta though

my boyfriend used to own a jetta and had many many problems with it. he found out in his research later that the volkswagen jettas traditionally begin having problems around 60 thousand miles. he poured so much into that car till he finally gave up and got a new one..and good luck trying to do any car repair yourself on this model..the german enginnering makes it nearly impossible. its a good article well written but i recommend people do their research first
